Sales Engineer – Machine Tools

About the role

Our client, a respected player in the electromechanical and electrical contracting sector, is seeking a proactive Sales Engineer to promote and sell machine tools to industrial customers in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. The role combines technical knowledge with commercial acumen to drive business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell a range of machine tools to manufacturing and engineering clients.
• Identify new business opportunities, generate leads and conduct product demonstrations.
• Interpret engineering drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks to propose suitable solutions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms and close sales.
• Coordinate with engineering and service teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and produce regular sales reports.

Required profile

• Diploma, B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Mechanical Engineering degree preferred).
• Typical experience of 3–8 years in industrial or machine‑tool sales.
• Familiarity with the UAE market is advantageous.
• CAD certifications (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) are a plus.
