Sales Executive – Identity Security Solutions

About the role

SailPoint is seeking a Sales Executive (Account Executive) to sell its Identity Security solution to enterprise customers. The role involves leading discovery calls, qualifying opportunities, and collaborating with a virtual team of partners, presales, and professional services to close deals.

Key responsibilities

• Exceed quarterly and annual revenue quotas.
• Develop and execute territory business plans and marketing initiatives with partners.
• Lead the full sales cycle: qualification, presentations, demos, RFP responses, negotiations, and closing.
• Coordinate virtual teams—including partner resources, presales, deal desk, and customer success—to deliver wins.
• Maintain accurate forecasting and Salesforce hygiene, updating activity in Salesforce and Clari.

Required profile

• Strong communicator who can conduct discovery calls and analyze prospect needs.
• Proficient at positioning SailPoint against competitors such as Microsoft, Okta, and Saviynt.
• Team‑oriented, able to act as a quarterback for cross‑functional resources.
• Capable of creating and executing territory and opportunity plans.
• Willing to travel up to 50% of the time for customer engagements.
