Sales Executive

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Executive to promote banking products, primarily credit cards, to both new and existing customers. The role focuses on lead generation, guiding customers through application and documentation, and meeting monthly sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Sell credit cards and other banking products, achieving assigned monthly sales and business goals.
• Generate leads through field sales, referrals, and direct customer engagement.
• Explain product features, eligibility, benefits, and terms to customers.
• Assist customers with application submission and ensure KYC compliance.
• Verify customer documents according to bank requirements and follow up on application status.
• Maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Prepare daily sales reports, update customer records, and coordinate with internal teams for smooth onboarding.
• Ensure compliance with banking policies, regulations, and data confidentiality standards.
• Participate in sales campaigns, promotions, and outdoor marketing activities.
• Handle customer queries promptly and work towards both sales volume and quality targets.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in banking sales, financial services, credit cards, or direct sales.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of banking products, features, and eligibility criteria.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage a sales pipeline.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Basic CRM usage knowledge.
