Sales Manager – InsurTech Platform

About the role

We are looking for a Sales Manager to be the principal commercial voice of an InsurTech start‑up launching the first digital facultative reinsurance platform in the MENA region. You will design the pipeline strategy, lead SaaS engagements with cedants and reinsurers, and own the client relationship from prospecting through post‑signing.

Key responsibilities

• Own and build a client pipeline across cedants, reinsurers, brokers and MGAs in the UAE, GCC and wider MENA, defining engagement approaches and driving deals to signature.
• Maintain the CRM as the single source of truth, deliver weekly pipeline reviews to the COO and monthly commercial reports to the executive team, and keep a rolling 90‑day forecast accurate.
• Lead end‑to‑end sales activities, including platform demonstrations, LOI negotiation, contracting and onboarding, and act as the ongoing relationship owner after signing.
• Capture prospect and client feedback to inform product roadmap and monitor market trends, competitor activity and regulatory developments.
• Identify and secure the company’s presence at key industry events and publications, and represent the business to regulators, partners and investors.

Required profile

• 5+ years of SaaS or fintech sales experience with a proven record of closing enterprise or institutional clients.
• Excellent English communication skills and the ability to translate a complex technical platform into commercial value for senior decision‑makers.
• Proactive, self‑directed and collaborative mindset with strong ownership instincts.
• Experience building structured sales pipelines, forecasting and target setting.
• Background in insurance, reinsurance or related value‑chain activities is a plus.
