About the role
The Sales Manager will lead the branch’s sales operations, driving both new and pre‑owned vehicle sales to meet monthly, quarterly and annual targets. This role combines strategic planning, financial oversight, and team development to ensure profitable growth and exceptional customer experience.
Key responsibilities
- Execute branch sales strategy and achieve defined revenue targets.
- Prepare, monitor and control the branch budget, operating expenses and profitability.
- Drive add‑on product sales to increase overall margin.
- Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and HSSE standards.
- Manage showroom inventory, display standards and vehicle availability.
- Recruit, train, mentor and retain high‑performing frontline and support staff.
- Collaborate with the Head of Sales on training and development initiatives.
- Develop and implement customer relationship strategies to boost sales, retention and loyalty.
- Monitor daily activities, track performance metrics and apply corrective actions as needed.
- Coordinate with Aftersales to ensure seamless customer service and resolve complaints promptly.
- Enforce security protocols, conduct spot‑check audits and mitigate operational risks.
- Produce accurate and timely sales, forecast, inventory and financial reports.
Required profile
- Proven leadership experience in automotive or retail sales management.
- Strong financial acumen with ability to manage budgets and control costs.
- Excellent analytical skills for performance monitoring and corrective action.
- Customer‑focused mindset with a track record of building lasting relationships.
- Ability to recruit, develop and retain high‑performing teams.
- Knowledge of compliance, risk management and HSSE standards.
