Sales Manager – Tunnelling & Mining (MEA)

About the role

The Sales Manager – Tunnelling & Mining (MEA) based in Dubai will lead commercial growth of Bekaert’s steel and synthetic fiber solutions across the Middle East and Africa, focusing on underground construction, mining and related applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional sales strategy for tunnelling and mining segments.
• Drive specification and adoption of steel fiber solutions in underground and mining projects.
• Manage relationships with owners, consultants, contractors, mining operators and distributors.
• Lead commercial negotiations and secure long‑term supply agreements.
• Coordinate with technical, specification, supply‑chain and project teams to ensure design optimisation, certifications and timely deliveries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Experience in infrastructure, tunnelling, precast, construction materials or specification engineering.
• Knowledge of Eurocode, fib Model Code, ACI and BS EN standards is preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship‑building skills.
• Willingness to travel across the Middle East (≈50% travel).
