SAP Project Manager

About the role

IBM Consulting is seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end delivery of SAP programs for clients across the Middle East. You will work within a global network, collaborating with functional, technical, data, integration and Basis teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own project governance, planning and delivery using SAP Activate methodology.
• Manage cross‑functional SAP teams, dependencies, risks and change control throughout the lifecycle.
• Oversee design, build, testing, cut‑over and go‑live activities, ensuring readiness for production and hyper‑care support.
• Maintain senior stakeholder relationships, produce executive‑level reports and lead steering‑committee engagements.
• Ensure compliance with SAP and organizational standards and mitigate delivery risks.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering multiple full‑lifecycle SAP implementations (ECC, S/4HANA).
• Deep functional or technical expertise across several SAP modules.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA capabilities, migration strategies and RISE with SAP.
• Experience managing system integrators and SAP partners in large‑scale, government or oil & gas projects.
• Arabic speaking ability and experience in KSA or UAE is preferred.
