SAP Technical Specialist ABAP

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Technical Specialist with deep ABAP, RAP, CDS and Fiori expertise to support a UAE‑based client in the Real Estate & Construction Technology sector. The role is fully remote and offers the flexibility of full‑time, part‑time or contract engagement while adhering to clean core development principles.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse, design and document enhancements for ABAP objects.
• Develop and optimise CDS‑based models, including performance tuning.
• Extend standard SAP Fiori applications and migrate custom fields.
• Design and build RAP‑based applications and REST APIs.
• Work on RICEFW objects and create event‑driven reports.
• Maintain and support live SAP technical objects in production environments.

Required profile

• 6–9 years of hands‑on SAP technical development experience.
• Strong ownership of technical tasks and ability to collaborate with functional, QA and platform teams.
• Experience supporting and enhancing live SAP objects and developing event‑driven business reports.

Required skills

• ABAP development.
• RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).
• SAP Fiori extension.
• CDS Views creation and performance tuning.
• SAP Business Technology Platform / Business Application Studio.
• REST API development.
• RICEFW object knowledge.
• Understanding of clean core principles.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools (optional).
