School Bus Driver (Full-Time)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated School Bus Driver to transport our students safely to and from The Aquila School in Dubai. The role is central to our commitment to providing a happy, safe learning environment where every child can thrive. You will work closely with school staff to ensure that children are supervised and protected at all times.

Key responsibilities

• Transport children to and from school each morning and afternoon, adhering to scheduled routes.
• Verify permissions for children who ride home with friends and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain a clean, mechanically‑sound bus and perform pre‑ and post‑route inspections.
• Obey all traffic laws and ensure the safety of all students on board.
• Discipline children when required to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
• Assist students with boarding and alighting the bus as needed.
• Attend monthly safety meetings and keep RTA approvals up to date.
• Carry out additional tasks assigned by the school or regional office to support daily operations.

Required profile

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, with willingness to undergo background checks.
• Adherence to The Aquila Professional Code of Conduct and school policies.
• Ability to work the specified hours (5:30 am–5:00 pm Mon‑Thu, 5:30 am–2:00 pm Fri) and occasional evenings/weekends.
• Strong sense of responsibility and ability to maintain discipline and safety on the bus.
