School Principal

About the role

We are seeking an experienced School Principal to lead Sharjah British International School. The successful candidate will drive the school’s vision, uphold its core values, and ensure the delivery of high‑quality education.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and manage day‑to‑day operations of the school.
• Develop and implement curriculum aligned with CBSE, IGCSE, ICSC or IB standards.
• Foster innovative teaching methods and oversee extracurricular programmes.
• Manage staff recruitment, performance, professional development and overall personnel matters.
• Maintain facilities, ensure compliance with KHDA regulations and oversee budgeting.
• Build strong relationships with parents, address concerns and support enrolment processes.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate degree plus B.Ed. from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, including at least 7 years in a Principal or Vice‑Principal role.
• Proven experience in CBSE/IGCSE/ICSC/IB schools, preferably in Dubai or the UAE.
• Fluent Arabic speaker with strong stakeholder and people‑management skills.
• Knowledge of KHDA guidelines and ability to work with numbers and budgets.
