School Systems Administrator

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking a School Systems Administrator to support its network of schools in the UAE. The role implements, administers, supports, troubleshoots and maintains the organisation’s student information systems and related educational technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Serve in a 3‑person administrator squad for iSAMS and PowerSchool, handling implementation, configuration and maintenance of the student information systems.
• Provide functional and technical support to schools and central teams, resolving incidents, service requests and operational issues.
• Maintain data quality across integrated platforms such as iSAMS, Salesforce, MuleSoft, Live Aldar and CPOMS.
• Develop and sustain reporting, analytics dashboards and business‑intelligence solutions to aid educational decision‑making.
• Lead training, documentation and knowledge‑transfer activities for system users.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience managing education‑focused information systems (e.g., iSAMS, PowerSchool).
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure and drive proactive initiatives.

Required skills

• iSAMS and PowerSchool administration.
• Salesforce, MuleSoft and CPOMS integration.
• Live Aldar, Destiny Follett and other educational technology platforms.
• API development, middleware integration and SSO/identity management.
• Cloud‑hosted and on‑premises application configuration, data recovery and troubleshooting.
