Scrub / Clinical Application Specialist - Orthopedics (Joints & Sports Surgery)

About the role

Medworks Medical Equipment Trading LLC, a medical device distributor in the UAE specializing in Orthopedics, Sports Surgery, ENT and Surgical Solutions, is seeking a Scrub / Clinical Application Specialist for its Orthopedic Joints & Sports Surgery division. The role supports surgeons during knee joint replacement and sports surgery procedures, helps with product evaluations and ensures the adoption of Medworks' orthopedic solutions in leading hospitals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide scrub support in the operating theatre for orthopedic joint replacement and sports surgery procedures.
• Assist surgeons with accurate use of instrumentation, implants and devices.
• Support product demonstrations, trials and evaluations in hospitals and with healthcare professionals.
• Act as a clinical resource for surgeons, nurses and medical staff on product usage and safety.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and patient safety standards.
• Maintain accurate case support reports and feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on surgical experience in the OT, specializing in joint replacement and sports surgery.
• Valid UAE driving license (a must).
• Willingness to travel across the UAE as required.
• Arabic speaking is an added advantage.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, implants and procedural protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
