About the role

The school is seeking an enthusiastic Secondary English Teacher for Year 9 to join its vibrant, multicultural community. You will deliver the British curriculum, inspire a love of literature, and develop strong literacy skills in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the British curriculum.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
• Maintain effective classroom management and a safe learning atmosphere.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school initiatives.

Required profile

• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or valid US teaching licence).
• Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field.
• Previous secondary teaching experience, preferably within a British curriculum setting.
• Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.
• Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in an international school.
