Secondary ICT Teacher (Immediate Start)

About the role

The school is seeking an experienced Secondary ICT Teacher to join immediately, preferably for the Academic Year 2025. The role involves delivering engaging ICT lessons to Cycle 2‑3 and secondary students, supporting their academic growth and preparing them for assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with grade‑by‑grade learning standards.
• Coordinate with other teachers to integrate ICT topics across subjects.
• Provide both direct and indirect instruction, adapting methods to individual student needs.
• Assess student progress, prepare quarterly achievement reports for parents, and maintain classroom discipline.
• Support the ADEK National Identity initiative and serve as an advisor for student advisory groups.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (QFE Level 7) in Computing, Information Technology or a related field, attested and UAE‑equivalency certified.
• Recognised teaching qualification such as a Teaching Diploma, PGCE, QTS or equivalent licensure.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience in secondary or Cycle 2‑3 ICT education.
• For non‑native English speakers, a valid IELTS score of 5.5 or higher.
