Security Officer – Hotel Safety & Risk Management

About the role

The Security Officer will lead the safety programme for a luxury hotel in Ras Al‑Khaimah, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations. You will work closely with management and staff to create a secure environment for guests and employees.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain safety policies, procedures and emergency response plans.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, audits and investigations of incidents or near‑misses.
• Lead safety training sessions, promote awareness and ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, training, inspections and corrective actions.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all safety‑related matters and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a Safety Officer or HSE role, preferably in luxury hospitality.
• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety or a related field (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and risk‑management regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to train staff at all levels.
