Security Officer

About the role

The Arts Club Dubai is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to support the Security Managers in safeguarding members, guests, colleagues and the property. The role involves maintaining the highest security standards while delivering exceptional customer service within a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage entry and exit points, verify identification, and control access to restricted areas.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, disturbances, and incidents such as theft or trespassing.
• Provide first aid or assist during medical emergencies until professional help arrives.
• Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches, and prepare reports for management and law enforcement.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify safety hazards and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Assist members and guests with directions, information, and courteous service.

Required profile

• Mandatory SIRA License or Certificate.
• Higher Secondary Education or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in security within the luxury hospitality industry.
• Strong proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to remain composed and professional in challenging situations.

Required skills

• SIRA security certification.
• Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR.
• Effective communication skills in English.
