Security Team Leader

About the role

The Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi is seeking a Security Team Leader to oversee the safety and security of guests, colleagues, and property. You will lead a dedicated security team, ensuring compliance with Hyatt standards while fostering a welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support security staff in delivering Hyatt security standards.
• Conduct regular patrols and monitor CCTV, access‑control systems, and alarms.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, and security concerns.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, security logs, and required documentation.
• Coach and motivate team members, promoting teamwork, vigilance, and care.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of security experience, preferably in a luxury hotel.
• Previous supervisory or team‑leader experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, observation, and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and handle sensitive situations with discretion.
• Good English communication skills and flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
