Security Team Leader

About the role

Join the security team at Destination Hotels in Abu Dhabi, leading a group of security professionals to ensure a safe environment for guests, colleagues and property. The role combines operational oversight with hands‑on response to incidents, supporting Hyatt’s commitment to hospitality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support security colleagues in delivering Hyatt standards.
• Ensure the safety and security of guests, colleagues, visitors, and hotel property.
• Conduct regular patrols and monitor CCTV, access‑control systems, and alarms.
• Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies, incidents, and security concerns.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, security logs and required documentation.
• Coach and motivate team members while fostering teamwork, respect, vigilance, and care.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of security experience, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
• Previous supervisory or team‑leader experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, observation and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to remain calm, act professionally and handle sensitive situations with discretion.
• Good English communication skills and flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
