Senior Accountant – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing team in Dubai. The role offers the opportunity to develop accounting and financial management expertise in a dynamic professional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports and reconciliations.
• Execute monthly, quarterly and annual closing procedures.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies and UAE VAT regulations.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Coordinate with auditors and support internal and external audit processes.
• Prepare VAT returns and support management with financial insights.

Required profile

• ACCA qualified, ACCA part‑qualified or CA Inter (India).
• Completed a mandatory 3‑year articleship in India.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
