Senior Accountant – Finance Team (Dubai)

About the role

Utravel is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its Finance team in Dubai. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month‑end close, and ensuring compliance with audit and treasury requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review monthly profit & loss statements and balance‑sheet schedules for accuracy.
• Analyze financial reports, investigate variances, and support accurate reporting.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
• Verify supplier invoices and process payments, handling vendor queries.
• Perform bank, supplier, customer, intercompany, and general‑ledger reconciliations.
• Resolve reconciliation discrepancies promptly.
• Reconcile monthly credit‑card statements and monitor outstanding balances.
• Provide backup support for treasury and banking operations as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems.
