Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting & Analysis

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to lead our financial reporting and analysis functions. The role will ensure compliance with accounting standards, support budgeting processes, and provide actionable insights to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Oversee general ledger maintenance and journal entry processing.
• Assist in annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for decision‑making.
• Perform regular account reconciliations, including bank and balance‑sheet accounts.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, guaranteeing accurate transaction processing.
• Produce financial reports for management, external auditors, and regulatory bodies.
• Coordinate timely filing of tax returns and maintain tax compliance.
• Monitor cash flow and recommend strategies to optimize working capital.
• Lead, mentor, and develop junior accounting staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting or a comparable role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as SAP, QuickBooks, or Oracle.
• Advanced understanding of general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliation.
• Ability to prepare and interpret financial statements and tax filings.
