Senior Accountant Financial Reporting

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to lead our financial reporting, month‑end close, and audit coordination activities. The role requires strong analytical abilities, hands‑on experience with Oracle Fusion (including the FCCS module), and advanced Excel expertise. Experience in real‑estate, property or facility management is highly valued.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual closing cycles, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports and variance analyses.
• Manage core accounting functions such as general ledger, accruals, provisions and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE regulations and internal policies.
• Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations across multiple entities.
• Coordinate audit preparation and documentation with internal and external auditors.
• Utilise Oracle Fusion ERP and FCCS for consolidation and reporting.
• Provide data‑driven insights to support financial planning and business decisions.
• Develop automated reports and dashboards using advanced Excel features.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase reporting efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CA) preferred.
• 5‑6 years of accounting experience in the UAE, preferably in real‑estate or related sectors.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and organisational skills.
• Effective communication and ability to work cross‑functionally.

Required skills

• Oracle Fusion ERP (hands‑on experience required).
• Financial Consolidation and Close System (FCCS) module.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, macros, etc.).
