Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Accountant with extensive experience in the manufacturing sector. The role involves managing the full spectrum of financial activities, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations, and providing insightful business reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare full P&L statements, manage financial transactions, and oversee month‑end closing.
• Conduct general ledger and bank reconciliations.
• Forecast and manage cash flow, including interactions with banks and trade finance facilities.
• Maintain accounts receivable and payable, and handle payroll and WPS registration.
• Ensure compliance with VAT and corporate tax laws and manage tax filings.
• Produce financial statements, budgets, and business performance reports.
• Manage cost accounting and inventory valuation according to manufacturing standards.
• Support internal and external audits and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve financial efficiency.

Required profile

• BCom or equivalent; CPA, ACCA or CMA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of local taxation (VAT, corporate tax).
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
