Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves handling a wide range of accounting functions for shipping, maritime, and property management activities while ensuring compliance with UAE tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping, financial reporting, and preparation of statutory financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, invoicing, and expense monitoring.
• Conduct business analysis and feasibility studies for maritime and real‑estate projects.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and detailed account reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, corporate tax filing, and other local accounting regulations.
• Utilise Microsoft Excel and accounting software to streamline processes and generate reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Relevant accounting experience in the UAE, preferably in shipping, maritime, or property management.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to be based full‑time in Abu Dhabi.
