Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing core accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting cash flow management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and revenue reports.
• Maintain the general ledger, journal vouchers and subsidiary account reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice verification, supplier payments and weekly aged‑account reviews.
• Perform cash flow management, bank reconciliations, cash calls and petty‑cash processing.
• Maintain the fixed‑asset register and calculate periodic depreciation.
• Reconcile daily transactions, credit balances, refunds and claim denials, applying necessary adjustments.
• Ensure document control, monthly audit books and confidentiality of financial records in line with regulatory standards.
• Utilise ERP and accounting software (Oracle, Maximo, MS Office) to keep financial databases up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in accounting or financial operations.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger, accounts payable/receivable and fixed‑asset accounting.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining strict confidentiality.
