Senior Accountant – Manufacturing Experience

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant with solid manufacturing experience to join our finance team in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi. The role involves managing complex accounting activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily ledger entries and process accounts payable, receivable, debt, and fund transfers.
• Respond to accounting inquiries from employees, vendors, and clients with complete information.
• Generate accurate invoices, validate their correctness, and make necessary adjustments.
• Track and analyse monthly receivables and outstanding days.
• Prepare basic accounting statements and management reports.
• Perform detailed account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Create correcting journal entries and support month‑end close activities.
• Assist audits by providing required transaction documentation.
• Consolidate and report financial information to management and external parties as needed.
• Handle ad‑hoc reporting requests.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CIMA, ACCA, CA or equivalent is preferred.
• Fluent English communication skills.
