Senior Accountant – Subsidiaries

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to lead the financial operations of our subsidiary companies. The role ensures accurate reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and provides insights that support strategic decisions across our global energy maritime logistics business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit timely financial statements for each subsidiary.
• Produce detailed periodic financial reports and analyses for the Financial Reporting Department.
• Oversee trial balances and general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure all financial activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Provide guidance and support to accounting staff within subsidiaries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• 6‑8 years of finance experience, including at least 3 years in progressively senior managerial roles.
• Experience in shipping, logistics, marine services, or a related industry is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as ACCA, ACA, FCA, CIMA, or CPA.
