Senior Analyst, Structured Finance

About the role

Masdar is seeking a Senior Analyst to act as the subject matter expert for financing work streams of renewable energy and green hydrogen projects. The role involves building and maintaining complex financial models and delivering financial reporting for both greenfield and M&A projects.

Key responsibilities

• Construct, maintain, review, and operate complex financial models in line with internal guidelines.
• Conduct financial analysis, perform quality reviews, and explain model outcomes to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with commercial, technical, legal, tax, insurance, environmental, and QHSE teams as well as external lenders, equity partners, and advisors.
• Support Masdar’s bank relationship model and treasury operations, including guarantee issuance and cash‑liquidity management.
• Maintain relationships with service providers and negotiate favourable agreements on behalf of Masdar.

Required profile

• MBA or relevant master’s degree from a top‑tier institution (preferred) and a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, STEM or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in financial modelling and/or project financing at a leading investment bank, advisory firm, developer or financial sponsor.
• Experience in the global power and renewable energy sectors is strongly preferred.
