Senior Architect

About the role

Artelia Middle-East is seeking a Senior Architect to lead the architectural design delivery for projects in Dubai, from concept through completion. The role ensures design quality, technical coordination, regulatory compliance and full client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design team through concept, feasibility, detailed design, authority approvals, tender, construction support and project close‑out.
• Ensure designs comply with international codes, IATA/ICAO standards and UAE authority requirements (Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, Estidama, etc.).
• Coordinate with BIM Manager and BIM Coordinator to define deliverables and guarantee that drawings, specifications and reports meet contractual and regulatory standards.
• Conduct design reviews, coordination workshops, approval meetings and high‑level presentations for clients, operators and statutory authorities.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring and quality oversight to architects and BIM team members.
• Utilise AI‑enabled workflows and design software responsibly for option generation, analysis, visualisation, coordination and quality checks.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading multidisciplinary architectural projects in the Middle East.
• Strong knowledge of UAE building regulations and international aviation standards.
• Proven ability to manage design teams, coordinate with engineers and consultants, and communicate complex design concepts clearly.
