Senior Architect

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Architect to lead architectural technical delivery during the construction phase for high‑rise, mixed‑use, residential, commercial and hospitality projects across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and coordinate architectural shop drawings and detailed construction documents, ensuring compliance with contract documents, Dubai Municipality regulations and UAE Fire & Life Safety Code.
• Develop and manage BIM models in line with project BIM Execution Plans, conduct clash detection workshops and resolve design conflicts.
• Coordinate architectural designs with structural, MEP, landscape, interior, façade and infrastructure disciplines to guarantee seamless integration.
• Support project teams by answering RFIs, reviewing contractor proposals, material submissions and mock‑ups, and providing on‑site architectural assistance.
• Mentor junior architects and BIM designers, monitor drafting teams and ensure delivery of shop‑drawing packages on schedule.
• Participate in value‑engineering, design optimisation and risk mitigation activities to improve buildability, sustainability and cost efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s preferred).
• 10‑15 years of architectural design experience, including at least 5 years in the UAE/GCC.
• Proven track record delivering high‑rise, residential, commercial and hospitality projects for real‑estate developers or contractors.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong experience with BIM coordination tools such as Navisworks and common data environments (ACC/BIM 360).
• Solid knowledge of Dubai Municipality regulations, UAE Fire & Life Safety Code and accessibility standards.
• Competent use of Microsoft Office applications.
