Senior Associate – Legal

About the role

The Senior Associate – Legal will support Modon’s legal function by providing advisory, governance, and transactional services across the UAE and GCC. This role combines contract management, regulatory compliance, and dispute handling to enable business growth while safeguarding legal risk.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the group legal strategy and ensure alignment with UAE, ADGM/DIFC, and GCC regulations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate development, construction, lease, FM, and consultancy agreements.
• Conduct legal due diligence for corporate transactions, joint ventures, and REIT structuring.
• Support regulatory compliance for real‑estate ownership, registration, and land matters in mainland and free zones.
• Manage disputes, litigation, and arbitration in coordination with external counsel.
• Collaborate with development, asset management, finance, and ESG teams to embed legal considerations in projects.
• Oversee external counsel relationships, budgeting, and deliverable tracking.
• Assist the General Counsel with M&A, real‑estate investments, partnerships, and post‑transaction implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); Master’s or postgraduate degree preferred.
• Admission to practice law in a recognized jurisdiction; UAE legal experience preferred.
• 6–8 years of post‑qualification experience in corporate/commercial law, real‑estate, regulatory and transactional matters.
• Fluent English; Arabic a plus.
