Senior Associate – Non‑Contentious Construction

About the role

Clyde & Co’s market‑leading MEA Projects & Construction team is seeking a Senior Associate to advise on high‑value, complex construction projects across the UAE. You will act as “Project Counsel”, providing commercial, legal and contractual guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of non‑contentious construction matters, from contract drafting to negotiation.
• Provide strategic advice on commercial and legal issues arising during construction projects.
• Draft and review international construction contracts, pleadings, witness statements and legal opinions.
• Collaborate with partners to develop and maintain client relationships.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in high‑value, complex construction contract management and negotiation.
• Strong knowledge of UAE and DIFC law.
• Excellent academic credentials and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.
• Commercial awareness and confidence in building client rapport.
