Senior Audit & Assurance Professional – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Audit & Assurance professional to join its Abu Dhabi team. You will work with a diverse portfolio of clients, applying rigorous audit standards and delivering high‑quality assurance services that build trust and credibility.

Key responsibilities

• Build trust with stakeholders by understanding their service expectations and individual priorities.
• Deliver high‑quality audit services, applying practical knowledge of regulation and risk management.
• Analyse key statistics and industry information before engagements begin.
• Prepare and adapt referral instructions to clearly define audit scope and focus areas.
• Coordinate with on‑shore and off‑shore Centres of Excellence, ensuring accurate and complete information exchange.
• Track deliverables from component auditors and assess their relevance.
• Link risks, controls, procedures and findings across the audit file in a timely manner.
• Articulate audit quality milestones and demonstrate how they contribute to overall audit quality.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of audit methodology, regulatory impact, and risk management.
• Ability to interpret industry data and statistics to inform audit planning.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with global teams and stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude in tracking deliverables and ensuring completeness of audit documentation.
