Senior Azure AI Architect

About the role

Capgemini Invent is seeking a Senior Azure AI Architect to lead the architecture and technical design of enterprise Azure AI solutions, including Generative AI, agentic AI, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Search, and AI Factory platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and define Azure AI architectures across Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Azure ML, Microsoft Fabric, and Databricks.
• Lead technical discovery with IT, data, security, and enterprise architecture stakeholders, producing reference architectures, solution blueprints, and PoC plans.
• Guide MVP implementation covering environment setup, secure connectivity, data ingestion, retrieval, agents, evaluation, and monitoring.
• Embed guardrails, content safety, logging, identity, access control, and human oversight into designs.

Required profile

• 8‑12+ years in solution, cloud, data/AI architecture or platform engineering.
• 4‑5+ years designing Azure solutions with production AI or client‑facing implementations.
• Hands‑on experience with GenAI, RAG, LLM applications, MLOps/LLMOps, or AI platform engineering.
• Secure enterprise integration experience (identity, APIs, private networking, monitoring, cloud governance).

• Azure Machine Learning, evaluation and deployment concepts.
• Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, ADLS Gen2.
• Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, Service Bus, API Management.
• Entra ID, managed identities, Key Vault, private endpoints, VNet integration, RBAC, logging.
• Python (mandatory).
• Preferred certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure AI Engineer Associate.
