Senior Backend Engineer - MT5

About the role

MultiBank Group is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer specialized in MetaTrader 5 (MT5) to strengthen its trading platform ecosystem. You will design, build, and maintain critical backend services that support order execution, account management, risk controls, and post‑trade operations for a high‑volume, globally regulated financial institution.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services that power MT5 trading operations and broker infrastructure.
• Integrate MT5 Manager API, Gateway API, and internal trading systems.
• Implement the full trade lifecycle: order creation, execution, modification, settlement, reporting, and reconciliation.
• Build business logic for account management, margin calculations, exposure monitoring, and risk controls.
• Connect MT5 with CRM, back‑office, payment, compliance, and reporting platforms.
• Support connectivity with liquidity providers, bridge solutions, market data feeds, and execution venues.
• Optimize services for performance, reliability, and scalability in high‑volume environments.
• Investigate and resolve production issues affecting trade processing and client accounts.
• Collaborate with product, trading, risk, and operations teams to deliver new functionality.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and produce technical documentation.

Required profile

• Extensive hands‑on experience with MetaTrader 5 and broker operations.
• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle processes and risk management.
• Proven ability to work in fast‑paced, regulated financial settings.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
