About the role

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with strong Python expertise to join a high‑traffic project on a contract basis in Dubai. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend services that power critical business applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python and frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Implement and manage RESTful APIs, databases, and micro‑services architecture.
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability for large‑scale applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code following industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues to ensure high availability and uptime.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience with Python.
• Proven ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments and handle multiple priorities.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a focus on delivering robust solutions.
