Senior Bridge Engineer

About the role

Lead and manage bridge maintenance, rehabilitation, and construction activities to ensure successful project execution. Provide technical guidance and engineering support to project teams, site engineers, and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage bridge maintenance, rehabilitation, and construction activities.
• Provide technical guidance and engineering support to project teams, site engineers, and subcontractors.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, method statements, and work procedures for compliance.
• Monitor project progress, identify technical challenges, and deliver engineering solutions.
• Ensure bridge works meet approved designs, quality standards, safety requirements, and specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Supervise inspection, repair, and maintenance activities for bridges and related structures.
• Review technical submissions, inspection reports, and project documentation.
• Support project planning, scheduling, resource management, and progress monitoring.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical updates to management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with UAE construction standards, HSE requirements, and quality procedures.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate engineering records.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Bridge Engineer / Senior Bridge Engineer in bridge maintenance, rehabilitation, or construction projects in the UAE.
• Strong experience in bridge inspection, structural repairs, rehabilitation works, and maintenance activities.
• Proven experience on major infrastructure projects in the UAE.
• Experience with Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) projects preferred.
• Valid UAE Driving License with own car.
