Senior Business Analyst (Remote, UAE)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team on a full‑time, remote basis while being based in the United Arab Emirates. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to translate strategic objectives into detailed functional specifications and user stories.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse current business processes, identify improvement opportunities and design future‑state workflows.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews and gather detailed requirements.
• Produce requirements documentation, use cases, acceptance criteria and support backlog prioritisation.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams during solution implementation.
• Conduct impact and gap analyses, support user‑acceptance testing and post‑implementation reviews.
• Contribute to change‑management activities, training material creation and knowledge transfer.

Required profile

• Strong Business Analysis expertise, including elicitation, documentation and translation of needs into functional specifications.
• Proven analytical ability to interpret complex data and provide evidence‑based recommendations.
• Experience in business process modelling and improvement (as‑is/to‑be mapping).
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional stakeholder engagement.
• Several years of experience as a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst, preferably in technology‑driven or financial services environments.
• Familiarity with agile or hybrid delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, scaled agile).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field.
