Senior Business Intelligence Manager - Payment Analytics

About the role

Bybit, a cryptocurrency exchange and digital financial platform founded in 2018, is hiring a Senior Business Intelligence Manager in Dubai. The role acts as the core BI partner for the Payment business, owning end-to-end analytics on Crypto Pay, stablecoin payments, merchant payments and cross-border payments, and turning data into actionable recommendations for product strategy and business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the core BI partner for the Payment business, collaborating with Product, Operations and BD teams to understand objectives, challenges, growth opportunities and risks.
• Own deep-dive analysis of payment metrics such as transaction volume, success rate, conversion rate, active users, merchant activity, transaction frequency and revenue, including root cause, attribution and trend analysis.
• Support payment product growth, user acquisition and retention, merchant growth and transaction volume expansion, and evaluate the impact of features, campaigns and PSP partnerships.
• Independently own complex analytical projects, build and maintain the Payment KPI framework, dashboards and analytical models, and develop reusable analytical frameworks.
• Partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decisions and measure business improvement outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in BI, Business Analytics, Product Analytics or related data analysis roles; payment, fintech, PSP or digital wallet experience is a strong plus.
• Solid understanding of payment business models, transaction flows, merchant scenarios, payment channels and core metrics.
• Strong structured thinking, problem-solving, business acumen, ownership and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SQL (Hive/ODPS) and Python, with independent ability to handle complex data analysis and analytical modelling.
• Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, DeepInsight or other BI tools.
• Preferred: experience in BI or product analytics at payment platforms, hands-on payment growth and merchant analytics projects, and building metric frameworks from scratch.
