Senior Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

About the role

Uvation is seeking a Senior Certified Public Accountant to ensure financial integrity, compliance, and transparency across its rapidly growing operations in the UAE. The role involves core financial reporting, audit coordination, tax compliance, and strategic financial planning while collaborating with multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and analyze financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, IFRS or other applicable standards.
• Lead month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, acting as the primary point of contact for auditors.
• Manage tax compliance activities, including federal, state and local filings.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow monitoring and identification of financial risks.
• Mentor junior accounting staff and ensure adherence to best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• UAE national (Emirati) candidate.
• CPA certification highly preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 8 years in a senior or supervisory role.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems such as MS Dynamics and NetSuite.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience handling multi‑entity and multi‑currency transactions.
