Senior Civil PMC Supervisor

About the role

Wood is recruiting a PMC Senior Supervisor – Civil for its Engineering team in Abu Dhabi. The role is site‑based at the Abu Dhabi office and focuses on detailed design and delivery of ADNOC projects. You will lead civil supervision activities on large‑scale oil and gas projects across the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage civil supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate daily construction activities across multiple work areas.
• Ensure effective manpower deployment and resource utilization.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to site supervision teams.
• Guarantee compliance with approved IFC drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Enforce strict site HSE requirements and promote a strong safety culture.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety meetings, and site inspections.
• Identify and mitigate construction hazards.
• Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in oil & gas projects, with at least 5 years in a PMC role on ADNOC or similar Middle‑East projects.
• Proven experience on large‑scale EPC/EPCM projects (CAPEX > USD 500 M).
• Middle‑East/GCC project experience with clients such as Saudi Aramco, Qatar Energy, PDO.
• Ability to obtain a CICPA and a UAE work visa.
