Senior Civil & Structural Engineer – Oil & Gas EPC

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Civil & Structural Engineer to lead civil and structural engineering activities across the engineering, construction and commissioning phases of oil & gas EPC projects in Abu Dhabi. The role combines office‑based design work with on‑site construction support, ensuring delivery to international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and develop civil and structural design documents, drawings and calculations.
• Participate in FEED and detailed engineering reviews.
• Prepare and review technical specifications, BOQs, MTOs and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (process, piping, electrical, etc.) and ensure compliance with project standards.
• Review contractor and vendor drawings for adherence to API, ACI, BS, Eurocode and other codes.
• Provide on‑site engineering support, supervise foundations, concrete, steel structures, pipe racks and buildings.
• Resolve RFIs, technical queries and site engineering issues.
• Work closely with QA/QC and HSE teams to guarantee safe and quality execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience on oil & gas EPC projects, both on‑shore and off‑shore, greenfield and brownfield.
• Proven experience in FEED, detailed engineering and construction support.
• Strong knowledge of international engineering codes and standards.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
