Senior Construction & Installation Engineer – Offshore Structures

About the role

Penspen is urgently seeking a Senior Construction/Installation Engineer to support offshore structural facilities, focusing on jackets and wellhead towers, on a major offshore PMC project in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical and field execution support for fabrication, load‑out, transportation, lifting, offshore installation, hook‑up and completion of jackets and wellhead towers.
• Ensure all structural construction and installation activities comply with engineering documents, project specifications, codes, standards and schedule.
• Act as the interface between Engineering, Fabrication, Marine, Heavy Lift, QA/QC, HSE, Planning, subcontractors, vendors and client representatives.
• Review and develop construction/installation methodologies, conduct constructability reviews and resolve field installation issues.
• Supervise engineering support for jacket fabrication, assembly and erection, and for wellhead tower fabrication and installation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited university.
• Minimum 15 years of experience, including at least 5 years on offshore projects.
• Proven experience in offshore structural construction, fixed jacket fabrication, load‑out, transportation and installation.
• Experience with wellhead tower fabrication, installation and structural hook‑up is strongly preferred.
• Background in PMC/EPC environments; prior ADNOC offshore experience is an advantage.
