Senior Contract Manager

About the role

The Senior Contract Manager will lead the end‑to‑end management of contracts across Schneider Electric’s operations in the United Arab Emirates. You will ensure legal compliance, mitigate risks, and drive commercial value through effective negotiation and strategic guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate complex service, vendor and partnership agreements.
• Maintain accurate contract records and ensure alignment with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Identify, assess and mitigate contractual risks, monitoring performance and enforcing obligations.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, procurement and business units to align contract terms with organisational goals.
• Lead negotiations with clients, suppliers and partners to secure favourable terms and cost savings.
• Manage and resolve disputes, claims and variations promptly.
• Provide regular reporting on contract status, risks and compliance metrics to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8‑10 years of experience in contract management, preferably within a large industrial or energy‑focused organisation.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial terms and regulatory requirements.
• Proven track record negotiating high‑value, complex agreements.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
