Senior Contract Specialist – International Contracts

About the role

EDGE Commercial is looking for a Senior Contract Specialist to lead the preparation, negotiation and finalisation of international contractual documents. The role supports the group’s strategic commercial activities by ensuring contracts meet RFP/RFI/RFQ requirements and align with internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct meetings with international customers, suppliers and project teams to interpret RFQ/RFP/RFI and gather technical requirements.
• Analyse scope of services, identify contract administration risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Draft and finalise technical and commercial terms for agreements such as NDAs, Project Agreements, Sale & Purchase Agreements, Licensing, Supply and Services Agreements.
• Negotiate contract terms with stakeholders, senior legal counsel and finance departments.
• Coordinate insurance requirements and ensure certificates are issued before project start‑up.
• Respond to contract deviations, modifications and manage all contract‑related correspondence in line with quality and information‑security policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of contract management experience in public or private sector, with exposure to international contracts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Contract Management, Business Administration (MBA), Legislative Law (LLB) or equivalent; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams and manage complex contractual negotiations.
