Senior Contracts Specialist – Change Management

About the role

The Senior Contracts Specialist (Change) will lead the commercial administration of the Prime Contract for the BNPP project, ensuring that any changes to the works are managed efficiently and that ENEC’s commercial risk is minimised. Working closely with the commercial team, the specialist will integrate change and claims processes, negotiate amendments, and support the overall contract management function.

Key responsibilities

• Support the commercial team to streamline change and claims management across the Prime Contract.
• Develop, maintain and implement processes and tools for effective commercial administration.
• Negotiate and administer changes to the Prime Contract, securing necessary approvals in line with ENEC delegation of authority.
• Monitor commercial risk, ensuring cost, time and risk issues are controlled and that ENEC’s interests are protected.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to build mutually beneficial relationships.
• Maintain and update Prime Contract commercial management procedures and ensure alignment with other ENEC business units.

Required profile

• Chartered membership of a recognised professional institution (RICS, CIOB or ICE).
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, preferably on large‑scale nuclear or infrastructure projects.
