Senior Corporate Accountant – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join a global financial services leader on a full‑time remote basis. The role focuses on complex financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and leading month‑end and year‑end close activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes, including reconciliations, adjustments and journal entries.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local tax regulations and coordinate related filings.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances and cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with financial audits.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills with high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas).
• Experience in financial reporting and month‑end/year‑end close.
• Understanding of tax compliance and regulatory filing requirements.
