About the role
We are seeking a Senior Data Science Manager to lead AI initiatives for a leading financial institution in Abu Dhabi. You will bridge technical teams and senior business stakeholders, delivering high‑impact machine learning solutions across banking domains.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and deploy advanced machine learning models for retail, risk, credit and operations.
- Lead feature engineering, model selection, validation, benchmarking and production deployment.
- Monitor model performance, stability, data drift and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate models via CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage and mentor a team of 2‑5 data scientists, driving change initiatives and training programs.
Required profile
- Minimum 6 years of data science experience with AI and cloud deployments.
- Strong background in banking processes, operations and MLOps in a regulated environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field; Master’s preferred.
