Senior Developer - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

About the role

Imbono, an operator and provider of infrastructure and essential goods and services across emerging markets, is hiring a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Senior Developer. The role covers the development, customisation and technical support of Gemcorp's Business Central environment, supporting a growing user base and evolving business needs. It also includes transferring technical knowledge from the current resource so that ownership of the platform is shared.

Key responsibilities

• Advise implementation partners and offshore teams on estimates, designs and deliverables.
• Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, backlog refinement and release management in an Agile delivery model.
• Support UAT, hypercare and the move to business-as-usual support, including knowledge transfer and documentation.
• Maintain the control environment: segregation of duties, permission sets, environment access, change control and audit evidence.
• Ensure extensions, integrations and Power Platform solutions meet cybersecurity, governance, audit and data protection requirements, working with the Cyber Security function.

Required profile

• At least seven years' experience with Dynamics NAV and Dynamics 365 Business Central, including three full-lifecycle implementations in a senior technical role.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Portuguese or Spanish highly desirable.

Required skills

• Strong AL development, extension architecture and Business Central application models; C/AL and upgrade experience advantageous.
• Complex integrations via REST/OData APIs, Azure integration services and middleware.
• Multi-entity, multi-currency and multi-jurisdiction deployments, including statutory localisation.
• Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, storage, monitoring), Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse and Power BI.
• Source control, CI/CD pipelines and structured release management.
• RDLC reports, SQL and .NET; Microsoft certifications (MB-820, MB-800, PL-400, PL-600) are a plus.
