Senior DevOps Engineer – CI/CD & OpenShift

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to support a prestigious banking client in the UAE. You will design, implement and manage modern CI/CD pipelines while ensuring security and reliability across the delivery chain.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, Nexus IQ and security tools (Image Signing, Image Scanning, Checkmarx).
• Develop and optimise GitHub Actions and apply GitOps principles for seamless deployments.
• Deploy applications with Helm charts and ArgoCD, guaranteeing high availability.
• Write and maintain Groovy scripts; implement logging and monitoring with ELK or Splunk.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, providing innovative solutions to maintain stability and performance.
• Collaborate on capacity planning, resource and vendor management, and stakeholder engagement.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Linux, Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and CI/CD processes.
• Proficiency in Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus/Nexus IQ, GitHub Actions, and GitOps implementation.
• Expertise in Groovy scripting, Helm, ArgoCD, and security scanning tools (Checkmarx, image signing/scanning).
• Solid problem‑solving skills and experience in troubleshooting, capacity planning and stakeholder management.
• Banking or financial services background is a strong advantage.
